On October 16th, 2010 I played at my second event of the day. It was a wedding & reception for Gina and Alex Jimenez, who came back to South Florida from North Carolina to celebrate with family and friends. Their ceremony room was decorated with red roses and highlighted with maroon uplighting. After saying their I do's the cocktail reception moved out to the patio over looking the golf course. Their First dance was by Amy Winehouse and after dinner the groom surprised his bride with a performance by a ballroom dance instructor (Carl Charles) and his partner (Andrea), who entertained the guests with a variety of moves & styles of dancing. Then they got everybody up to do The Electric Slide, Cupid Shuffle, Macarena, and the Conga. From their I muxed Salsa, Merengue, Reggae, Hip Hop, Top 40 and Club music. Erin and her staff at the country club were a pleasure to work with and the buffet was special...HMMM HMMMM GOOD! Eddie B!
