Last Saturday 12/4/2010 I DJ'ed an excellent wedding at Plaza Del Lago in Parkland. Bryan and Somer Russo planned their cocktail hour and wedding reception (5 hrs) perfectly. From the time I met them a few months ago I knew that this wedding would be great. They are a young couple with lots of energy. The cocktail hour music they picked was a mix of Frank Sinatra, some Italian classics and a bit of Bob Marley. After the bridal party was introduced Bryan and Somer entered to Memories by David Guetta. Their first dance was Then by Brad Paisley and the parents dances were I Hope You Dance by LeeAnn Womack and My Wish by Rascal Flatts. Bryan is a firefighter so he removed the garter to Fire by Ohio Players. Before the cake cutting Bryan and Somer suggested we do an anniversary dance to see who was the couple married the longest. The last couple standing was Somer's Aunt and Uncle. They were so happy that they were part of the wedding, something they were not expecting. The cake cutting song was Beautiful Day by U2 and Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leppard.
Bryan and Somer are going to Vegas for their Honeymoon. I wish them the best of luck. They really are a special couple.
