Played for a wedding on Saturday 11/20 at 94th Aero Squadron in Miami. Bride and Groom were Raul and Kristine Garces. Their first dance was Have I Told You Lately That I Love You. She dance with her dad to Because You Loved Me (Celine Dion). He danced with his Grandmother because his mother could not make it, they danced to Por Amor. The intro song was It Takes Two for the bridal party. The bride and groom walked in to Gitchie Gitchie Goo(Phineas and Ferb Song). During cocktail hour I played a mix of Latin guitar instrumental music by Arturo Fuerte, Bernie Williams and The Rippingtons. During dinner the bride requested a mix of old Cuban classics and boleros. After dinner the bride requested a song for her bridesmaids to kind of break the ice If Your Happy and You Know It by Crazy Leggs. After that the party kicked up to another level. The wedding was a success thanks to the great staff at 94th Aero. The cocktail hour was going to be held outdoors but it started raining about 15 minutes before the cocktail hour was supposed to start. They quickly moved everything inside and the cocktail hour was held inside without any worries. Great wedding and I look forward to working at 94 Aero again.
