Yiliam and Michael Carovilano exchanged their vows on a beautiful Saturday afternoon at the Bonnett House in Sunrise FL. The ceremony took place in the scenic courtyard as approximately 100 close friends and family members watched the happy couple get married. After the ceremony Michael, Yiliam and the bridal party stayed for pictures and everyone else drove over to The Tower Club in downtown Ft. Lauderdale. This was the site for the cocktail hour and reception. As the guests entered they were treated to drinks and appetizers. Yiliam did not provide a song list and left it up to me to get the party going. During cocktail hour and dinner I played a mix of oldies, love songs and smooth jazz. Yiliam is of Cuban descent and Michael is of Italian descent...right up my alley. So it was rather easy and fun to get this crowd going. Yiliam did request I Gotta Feeling by the Black Eyed Peas for the bridal party entrance and Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO for her and Michael's grand entrance. Their first dance was All My Like by K-CI and JoJo then Yiliam danced with her dad to De Nina A Mujer and Michael danced with his mom to What A Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong. The best man Tim made a great speech then Scarlet and Aracelis (Yiliam's best friends) made 2 toasts, one in English and one in Spanish. After the 2 course sitdown dinner the dance floor opened up for some dancing. I played a mix of salsa, merengue, top 40, r&b, classic rock and 80's classics. Everyone young and old enjoyed the range of music that I was playing. The anniversary dance followed along with the garter/bouquet toss. Yiliam requested that for the cake cutting I play Another One Bites The Dust by Queen...everyone got a kick out of that!! After some more dancing it was time to end the evening with one of Yiliam's favorite artists. The last song was Save The Last Dance For Me by Michael Buble. Wishing Yiliam and Michael lots of love, peace and happiness as they spend the rest of their lives together. Also a special congrats to the Hernandez and Carovilano families who danced practically all night. DJ Ray
