On Saturday March 19th, 2011 I played for Juli and John Terrero at the Coconut Cove Resort in Islamorada. This was a marathon party that lasted from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM, a 9 hour event! We started with a ceremony on the beach. Juli walked to "Cannon in D" by the Oneill Brothers and her bridal party to an instrumental version of "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" by Elton John. After they were pronounced husband & wife, "From This Moment" by Shania Twain was their recessional song! For cocktail hour Tropical and A/C music filled the air and I introduced Juli & John to "Forever" by Chris Brown. After a surf and turf dinner, Juli's father "Mr. David Fetters" gave his toast and then I invited everyone to the beach for a surprise and the first dance, which was "Heaven" by Bryan Adams. Just as I started the song a 4 minute fireworks show was launched over the beach from the bay by owner/operator Paul Bates. It was incredible as they danced their first dance with fireworks and a full moon as the back drop! Later Juli danced with her father to "Because you Loved Me" by Celine Dion, and John danced to "The Rose" by Westlife with his mother. Then John danced with Grandma Mary to "Always" by Frank Sinatra, this brought a round of applause from the 56 guests that were attending this tropical beach front wedding. They cut their cake to "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz and from their it was dancing until 2:30 AM. WOW what a group of festive party people I had that night. Thanx Juli and John for making me part of you special day...Eddie B!
