Wedding at the Jupiter Beach Resort

Chelsea and Marc Akkus celebrated their wedding at the Jupiter Beach Resort in Jupiter Beach, FL on 3/23/2019.  The ceremony was held at a nearby church then all of the approximate 100 guests were invited to the resort for the cocktail hour and reception.  As the guests mingled at the cocktail hour they enjoyed the live steel drum sounds of our very own Brian Henry.  I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 amber, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  The door to the ballroom opened up and everyone entered and prepared for the grand entrance.  Chelsea chose Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars for the bridal party intros and 24k by Bruno Mars for her and Marc's intro.  The first dance was to You and Me by The Dave Matthews Band then Chelsea danced with her dad to My Girl by The Temptations and Marc danced with his mom to My Wish by Rascal Flatts.  The toasts were given by Sarah (maid of honor) and Jafet (best man) then Mr. Romick (father of the bride) gave a welcoming speech.  Grandma Betts gave the blessing of the meals then everyone found their seats.  Chelsea did provide me with a play list that included top 40, 80s and 90s jams, country and Motown.  Great mix of genres for this fun/upbeat bunch.  I did take requests for a few latin favorites and couples dances.  There was no cake cutting ceremony or a garter/bouquet toss that evening but the dance floor was hot!!  The closing song for the evening was Treasure by Bruno Mars and that put a bow on a great Saturday night wedding.  Congrats to Chelsea, Marc and the entire Akkus and Romick families.
