Mely and Alan Chen celebrated their dream wedding at the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach, FL on 9/28/2019. Approximately 75 guests arrived to the museum that Saturday night and they were all directed to the area in front of the lake for a beautiful outdoor ceremony. After the happy couple tied the knot everyone was invited to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers. I played a mix of tropical tunes while Mely and Alan posed for pictures and their guests mingled. I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 red, wireless, LED up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 8 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Mely chose We Found Love by Rihanna for the bridal party intros and Happy by Pharell for her and A;an's intro. The first dance was to Perfect by Ed Sheeran then everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal. The toasts were given by Jennifer (maid of honor) and Amy (best lady) and the reception was under way. Mely did provide me with a play list that included top 40, latin favorites and 90s dance hits. Perfect mix of genres for a perfect wedding. The dance floor filled up very quickly after dinner and the dancing continued all night. There was no garter/bouquet toss that evening but they did take the time to cut the beautiful wedding cake. As the evening came to a close I played Glad You Came by The Wanted and that put a bow on an amazing Saturday night wedding. All of the guests then gathered at the front entrance for a glow stick send-off!!!
Congrats to Mely, Alan and the entire Chen family.
Special thanks to the staff at the Morikami for always providing excellent service.
