On Sunday March 6th, 2011, I provided our First Class Disc Jockey services for Ashley and Jonathan Lome at the Village Walk in Wellington. I was very impressed at this facility, it was my first visit. The ceremony was held outside in a Gazebo overlooking a small lake performed by a Rabi. The bridal party (30 people) walked to the theme from "True Romance" by Hans Zimmer. Ashley walked to "Con Te Partiro" by Andrea Bocelli. After vows were exchanged and the breaking of the glass I played a traditional Jewish recessional "Simon Tov and Mazel Tov". After cocktail hour I introduced the entire bridal party and just before I introduced the newlyweds, there was a slide presentation to "I Got You Babe" by Sonny & Cher. The guests really enjoyed watching this pictorial of Ashley and Jonthan. Their first dance was "Come What May" from Moulin Rouge. Ashley danced with her father Louis to "The Way You Look Tonight" by Frank Sinatra and Jonathan danced with his mother Marcia to "Have I Told You Lately" by Rod Stewart. During the buffet dinner, I used a list of famous movies to invite the guests. Ashley named each table after romantic movies with a happy ending! We started the dancing after dinner with a traditional Hora for the Jewish guests and a Tarantella for the Italian guests. I played mostly Top 40 hits with a mix of retro 80's and some line dances by request. The highlight of the evening was a photo booth and a 20 foot Candy buffet for the guests to enjoy....and they did! We ended the night with "We Are Family".....Thanx Ashley & Jonathan I enjoyed playing for you and your 140 friends and family members.....DJ/MC Eddie B!
