I played at an unbelievable wedding on Saturday 2/19 for Chris and Mary Andrews.  The venue was a house of a close friend on the intracoastal in Ft. Lauderdale.  This wasn't an ordinary house, it was more like a mansion.  The ceremony was held in the back by the pool overlooking the intercoastal. The bridal party walked in to Marry Me by Train and the bride walked in with her dad to Ode to Joy by Beethoven.  The cocktail hour was also in the back patio and in the foyer of this beautiful home.  Chris and Mary wanted to be presented to the guests during cocktail hour.  I also presented Chris's beautiful daughter Ashley and Mary's beautiful daughter Denvyr. Their first dance was My Best Friend by Tim McGraw which they danced together with no one else on the floor but the two love birds.  After the dances everyone sat for the main course where Ashley and Mary's good friend Stacey made two wonderful speeches. Chris and Mary requested a music selection of Sinatra, Norah Jones, Harry Connick, Sade and Michael Buble for cocktail hour and dinner which everyone really enjoyed.  After dinner Mary danced with her dad(Mr. Wayne Tyler) to A Kiss To Build A Dream On by Louis Armstrong.  Then Chris danced with his daughter Ashley to What A Wonderful World also by Louis Armstrong.  Now that everyone was full and a bit tipsy, the dancing began.

I played a mix of top 40, country and oldies with also was requested by Chris and Mary. Of course I threw in a few of my favorites like Shook Me All Night Long and Old Time Rock and Roll. Mary wanted me to play a joke on Chris so for the last dance she had me play just a few seconds of 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover.

Chris was in shock when he heard the song and everyone got a good laugh.  The real last song was From This Moment by Shania Twain.

I have to say that everything was perfect!!!  I also have to thank Alexis Castro from Alexis Events for her professionalism and her awesome staff for making this day perfect for Chris and Mary.  Alexis and her staff worked great together and I felt very comfortable with them.  They were very detail oriented but fun and friendly.  Definitely 5 Star service!!!!!
