Wedding Reception Aboard the Caprice Yacht

Elena & Dave Koda celebrated their wedding aboard the Caprice Yacht out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 6/18/2020.  The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the approximate 70 close friends and family members boarded the Caprice and were greeted with drinks and appetizers at the cocktail hour on the top deck.  Elena chose We Found Love by Rihanna as the intro song for the entire bridal party and for her and Dave's intro also.  The first dance was to Better Place by Rachel Platton then Elena danced with her dad to What A Wonderful World by L. Armstrong and with her step dad to You've Got A Friend In Me.  Dave then danced with his mom and with Elena's mom to Unforgettable by Nat King Cole.  After a short dance set all of the guests made their way to the main deck for dinner.  The dance floor got hot once everyone finished their meals and came up to the mid-deck to party out.  Elena asked me to play to her guests and to take requests.  I played a mix of top 40, 80s and 90s hits, oldies and latin favorites.  I also took a few requests for some of the newer group dances and we also took the time to watch the happy couple cut their delicious wedding cake.  As the Caprice approached the dock I played I've Had The Time Of My Life from the Dirty Dancing Soundtrack as requested by Elena.

Congrats to Elena, Dave and the entire Koda family.  Special thanks to the crew aboard the Caprice for always providing a smooth ride.
