Wedding Reception Aboard the Caprice Yacht

Tammy and Jonathan Ranney celebrated their wedding aboard the Caprice Yacht out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 11/7/2020.  Approximately 45 close friends and family members boarded the Caprice that Saturday night for a 5 hour wedding cruise.  The ceremony took place on the top deck then some of the guests remained on the top deck and some came down to mid-deck for the cocktail hour.  They enjoyed drinks and appetizers while I played a mix of tropical tunes.  When it was time for the grand entrance all of the guests gathered on the mid-deck.  Tammy chose 24K by Bruno Mars as the intro song for the bridal party along with her and Jonathan's.  The first dance was to From This Moment by Caleb and Kelsey then Tammy danced with her dad and Jonathan danced with his mom to Because You Loved by by Celine Dion.  Everyone was then invited to the main deck for a buffet style dinner.  The toasts were given by several family members along with a prayer before the meal given by Tom VanDeHey.  Tammy did provide me with a play list that included top 40, country and heavy 80s and 90s favorites.  Perfect mix of genres for this fun/energetic group of guests.  They filled the dance floor after dinner and only took a break for the cake cutting (no garter/bouquet toss).  As the Caprice approached the dock I played Last Dance by Donna Summer and that put a bow on a great Saturday night inter-coastal wedding cruise.  Congrats to Tammy, Jonathan and the entire Ranney and VanDeHey families.
