Wedding Reception Aboard the Caprice Yacht

Madalie and Luis Benavides celebrated their dream wedding aboard the Caprice Yacht out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 8/11/2022.  Approximately 80 guests boarded the Caprice that Thursday night and prepared for a 4 hour wedding cruise along the S. Florida inter-coastal water ways.  All of the guests were directed to the top deck for the ceremony and for the cocktail hour.  After the happy couple tied the knot they all mingled on the top deck and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  I played a mix of tropical tunes and latin favorites until it was time to come down to the mid-deck for the intros and dances.  Madalie and Luis danced to Ocean by Karol G as the first dance then Madalie danced with her brother Gabriel to Dancing In The Sky by Dani & Lizzy and Luis danced with his mom to Mi Primer Amor by Pesado.  All of the guests were then invited to the main deck for a buffet style dinner.  There were a few toasts and speeches during dinner then the dance floor opened up on the 2nd deck and the party was non-stop!!!  I played a mix of Tex-Mex tunes along with top 40, latin pop and hip-hop.  Perfect mix for this very electric group of guests.  The cake cutting and garter/bouquet toss were performed as the evening progressed but it was the dance floor that was extra hot that night.  As we approached the dock I played Take Me Home by Cash Cash and that put a bow on a fabulous Thursday night wedding cruise.
