Hello Jerry O here just to tell you about a wedding I did aboard the Caprice Yacht on November 12 for Mr. and Mrs. J Madison Boyd. They had their ceremony on the top deck, where I played the music for the bride's entrance. The song was welcome to the Black Parade, which she had recorded for her by a pianist James Roscoe. Once they were pronounced husband & wife the recessional song was Ballroom Blitz by Sweet. The guests were invited downstairs for cocktail hour and I played some easy listening tunes, and soft rock that the bride and groom had selected. It was time for the grand entrance. The bride and groom entered the room to Dancing in the Moonlight, by Toploader. I mixed into their first dance, which was You by Miley Cyrus. I invited Claire's dad to the floor for the father-daughter dance, the song that they selected was if I Can Dream by Elvis Presley. I invited all the guests to the dance floor, and continued with a slow song, then the dancing began, which was a mixture of rock, alternative rock, and some dance music south Florida style. The cake-cutting ceremony was to Sun to Me by Zach Bryan. I invited all the single ladies to the dance floor for the bouquet toss and played Girls by the Beastie Boys. There was no gutter removal on the agenda for the bride and groom, but the groom's friends insisted that he remove the garter so they asked me to play R. Kelly's Bump and Grind and they proceeded to put the chair in the middle of the floor and he did his thing. Eveyone dance the night away and when we docked I played the last song Closing Time by Semisonic, and wished everybody a good night and get home safely. Thanks to the crew on the Caprice for a great job. Thanks for having me as your Dj Jerry O
