Wedding Reception Aboard the Caprice Yacht

Elyse and Darrick celebrated their wedding aboard the Sun Dream Yacht out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 8/10/2024.  Approximately 45 close friends and family members boarded the Sun Dream that Saturday night and were directed to the top deck for the ceremony.  After the happy couple sealed their love with a big kiss, everyone was invited to the cocktail hour on the mid-deck.  I played a mix of tropical tunes while everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  Elyse and Darrick posed for pictures until it was time for the buffet style dinner served on the main deck.  During dinner some of the guests gave toasts and speeches then they all came back up to the mid-deck (where I am set-up) for some dancing fun.  Elyse and Darrick danced to Shining Star by the Manhattans as their first dance, then everyone joined the happy couple on the dance floor.  I played a mix of alternative tunes, oldies, Motown and top 40 for this very excited group of guests.  The cake cutting was also performed on the mid-deck and I took plenty of requests for fun group dances and latin favorites.  As the Sun Dream approached the dock I played Ain't Even Done With The Night by J. Cougar and that put a bow on a great Saturday night wedding cruise along the S. Florida waterways.
