Wedding Reception Aboard the Caprice Yacht

I DJed the wedding of Alex and Katherine on board the Caprice Yacht on Saturday, November 23, 2024. There were over 100 guests on this gorgeous and cool night on the Ft Lauderdale Intra Coastal Waterway. The ceremony was on the top deck and it could not have been more perfect. Katherine walked down the aisle as I played The Best Thing by Paper Planes. After Captain Pat declared Katherine and Alex as husband and wife, Alex kissed his bride and the guests cheered as I played Is This Love by Bob Marley.

During cocktail hour I continued with light pop, reggae, and tropical house music as the guests enjoyed food and drinks and conversation on the top and mid decks. Next, I played Casate Conmingo and introduced for the very first time Mr and Mrs Tompkins! Next Alex and Katherine danced to Beyond by Leon Bridges. Next the guests enjoyed dinner and toasts on the first deck dining room as I played reggae and bos anova music.

After dinner it was time to dance and party! I played on the mid deck to start with songs from Marc Anthony, Pitbull, Farruko, Earth Wind and Fire, OutKast and Nicki Minaj. I also slowed it down with Unchained Melody. After playing for a few hours we took the party to the top deck! It was a full yacht dance party with music from Avicii, John Summit, Otto Knows, Axwell and there may have been some Lil Wayne and Bad Bunny in the mix! I played salsa from DLG and Katherine and Alex danced. The night ended with Sweet Caroline requested by the Father of the Bride and an invite from Alex to the guests to the after party.
