Eirini and Renzo Edery celebrated their wedding aboard the Catalina Yacht out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 9/5/2020. Approximately 60 close friends and family members boarded the Catalina and were directed to the top deck for drinks and appetizers. The ceremony took place at a nearby church so that gave us more time to party/dance on this beautiful 4 hr wedding cruise along the intercostal water ways. I invited all of the guests to the main deck for the reception and I lined up the 16 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Eirini chose Bring 'Em Out by T.I. for the bridal party intros and Automatic by The Pointer Sisters for her and Renzo's intro. The first dance was to I Just Wanna Be Your Everything by Andy Gibb then Eirini danced with her dad to If I Could by Ray Charles and Renzo danced with his mom to Blue Danube. Everyone found there seats then Eirini's parents gave the welcoming speech and Ana (maid of honor) and Fernando (best man) gave the toasts. The buffet style dinner was ready and the reception was under way. I was not provided with a play list but Renzo asked me to take requests and to rock the party. I played a mix of top 40, Greek traditional favorites, latin favorites and a sprinkle of classic rock. Great mix for this very fun group of guests. As the evening progressed we did have a garter/bouquet toss and the happy couple did cut their wedding cake. The dancing continued until the Catalina approached the dock. Eirini requested Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison and that put a bow on a very special Saturday night wedding. Congrats to Eirini, Renzo and the entire Edery and Moforis families.
Special thanks to Capt. Robbie and the crew aboard the Catalina for always providing a smooth ride.
