Wedding Reception Aboard the Catalina Yacht

Tara and Nick McChesney celebrated their wedding aboard the Catalina Yacht out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 6/4/2021.  As all of the approximate 90 guests boarded the Catalina they were directed to the top deck for drinks and appetizers.  The ceremony was held at a nearby church so this 4 hour cruise along the inter-coastal water ways was for the cocktail hour and reception only.  I invited all of the guests down to the main deck for the grand entrance and dances.  Tara chose Marry You by Bruno Mars as the intro song for the 10 member bridal party and for her and Nick's intro.  The first dance was to Feel My Love by Adele then Tara danced with her dad to Moon River by Andy Williams.  The toasts were given by Taylor (maid of honor) and Don (best man) then Tara's dad Mr. Grippo gave the welcoming speech.  The guests found their seats and prepared for a buffet/station style buffet.  Tara did provide me with a play list that included top 40, 80s and 90s dance hits, classic rock and oldies.  Great mix of genres for this fun group of guests.  The dance floor opened up after dinner and they packed it till the end.  As the evening progressed Tara and Nick did cut their beautiful wedding cake and had a bouquet toss (no garter).  As the Catalina approached to dock I played It's Time by Imagine Dragons as all of the guests gathered on the dance floor.
