Simone and Arman Green celebrated their wedding aboard the Catalina Yacht out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 6/25/2021. Approximately 70 close friends and family members boarded the Catalina that Friday evening and were directed to the top deck for the ceremony. Simone looked stunning as her proud dad Handel walked her down the aisle. After the ceremony most of the guests remained on the top deck while others came down to the mid deck for appetizers and drinks. I played a mix of tropical tunes while all of the guests mingled and enjoyed the sights of the inter-coastal water ways. After the grand entrance Simone and Arman danced to All My Life by K-Ci and JoJo then Simone danced with her dad to I Hope You Dance by Gladys Knight and Arman danced with his mom to A Song For Mama by Boyz II Men. The toasts were given by William and Julie then Simone's brother Johann gave the welcoming speech. The buffet style dinner was ready and the reception was in full swing. Simone did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic r&b, reggae and Latin favorites. Great mix of genres for this very fun/energetic group of guests. There was no garter/bouquet toss but the happy couple did take the time to cut their beautiful wedding cake. As the Catalina approached the dock I played This Will Be by Natalie Cole and that put a nice bow on a fantastic Friday night wedding cruise.
Congrats to Simone, Arman and the entire Green and Douglas families. And the Garcia's LOL!
Special thanks to Capt. Pat and the crew aboard the Catalina for always providing a smooth ride.
