Wedding Reception Aboard the Catalina Yacht

It was an honor to DJ Michelle and Frankie’s wedding aboard the Catalina on Saturday February 26. The ceremony started on the upper deck of the Catalina where Michelle and Frankie exchanged their vows. While the guests were arriving, I played so upbeat instrumental jazz to set the tone for easy listening. After the ceremony ended, the bridal party, bride and groom took pictures all around the Catalina for moments to remember forever. The guests remained on the upper deck to enjoy cocktails and appetizers. As the cocktail hour came to a close, the guests made their way down to the lower deck where the dining area was all set and ready for them. Formal introductions began and the bridal party came into “An Irish Party in 3rd Class” by Gaelic Storm. The Michelle & Frankie walked in to “One and Only Love” by Teitur which was also their first dance as husband and wife. After their first dance came the parents dances. They all danced simultaneously as the song was sang by Michelle's cousins which was “I Promise You” by NSync. After the formal dances there were 3 toasts that were given and a prayer to follow before dinner was served. As dinner finished, we began to party and dance till the end of the night. There were variations of songs the Michelle suggested to hear. It ranged from rock, 2000’s pop, alternative, and some hip/hop. I would like to thank the staff on the Catalina for a wonderful job they did to make it all happen. May Michelle and Frankie have love, laughter and prosperity in their journey with each other.
