Wedding Reception Aboard the Catalina Yacht

Nick and Tara's wedding reception was held aboard the Catalina Yacht Charter in Ft. Lauderdale on September 16th. Many of their family members flew in from all over the country to watch the two get married at the Gallery One Hotel just before boarding for the reception. They were blessed with some perfect Florida Summer weather. I started things off with a mix of reggae and modern Pop Hits for the cocktail hour, while guests were boarding. After some pictures it was time to introduce the newlyweds. I pumped everyone up and the cheering continued as I introduced the newlyweds to Now that We Found Love by Heavy D and the Boyz. I invited them to the middle of the floor for their first dance to Endless Love by Luther Vandross and Mariah Carey. Shortly after the first dance, I asked Tara’s father, Sean to join her on the dance floor as they danced to My Girl by The Temptations, followed by the Mother and Son dance to Have I Told You Lately by the Rod Stewart. We took a little break for dinner around 8:30 as I played some Jazz, before continuing the fun. The reception continued after that and the guests danced the whole night.
