Wedding Reception Aboard the Catalina Yacht

On Saturday March 5, 2022 I had the honor to be the DJ for Kristen and Ryan’s weeding aboard the Catalina Yacht. In addition to their wedding, the newlyweds had a wedding planner, Hailey. She was really easy to work with. As the guests arrived to board the Catalina, they made their way to the upper deck for the ceremony. The bridal party walked out to”Come and Get Your Love” instrumental, Kristen walked to” In My Life” string quartet version.  The recessional was”Forever” Chris Brown.

After the ceremony, the bridal party, Kristen and Ryan took pictures through out the Catalina. While the photos were being taken, the cocktail hour started for the guests. Uptempo jazz was played during that time for the guests to enjoy. After the cocktail hour winded down, the guests made their way to the lower deck, dining area. A few short moments after that the bridal party, Kristen and Ryan were introduced.The bridal party was introduced to “I’m On A Boat” by Lonely Island. Kristen and Ryan were introduced to “I Feel So Close” by Calvin Harris. Kristen and Ryan's first dance together as husband and wife was “Grow Old With You”. One of the groomsmen played guitar and sang to them. I played a variation of slow songs to set the mood for dinner. During dinner there were a few speeches and toasts. Kristen and Ryan cut their cake to”Sugar” by Maroon 5. Once that ended, the party began. I played some 90s Pop, Hip-Hop and 80s Pop. I would like to thank the staff of the Catalina that night, they did a wonderful job. I would like to thank Kristen and Ryan for having me as your DJ.
