Johanna and Eric Casas celebrated their wedding aboard the Catalina Yacht out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 8/6/2022. As all 100 guests boarded the Catalina they were all directed to the top deck for the ceremony. Myself and Cecilia decorated the main deck with 12 amber, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights and our "Open Air" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. After the ceremony some of the guests remained on the top deck and some came down to the main deck for the cocktail hour. They all enjoyed drinks and appetizers as I played a mix of tropical tunes while we cruised along the inter-coastal water ways of S. Florida. For the grand entrance Johanna chose Don't Stop Till You Get Enough by M. Jackson for the bridal party and Happy by Pharrell for her and Eric's intro. The first dance was to Have I Told You Lately by Rod Stewart then Johanna danced with her brother Alvaro to Footprints by Molly Kate Kestner and Eric danced with his mom to Amor De Madre by Victor Manuelle. Everyone found their seats and prepared for a buffet style dinner then John (bride's best friend) and Ivan (best man) gave the toasts. Eric did provide me with a play list that included top 40, latin favorites and oldies. Great mix of genres for this very excited group of guests. The dance floor filled up very quickly and for the last hour I handed out many different props for the Hora Loca...Priceless.
The cake cutting ceremony and the garter/bouquet toss also took place as the evening progressed but it was the dance floor and the photo booth that most people enjoyed. The closing song for the evening was No Hay Cama Pa Tanta Gente by El Gran Combo as the Catalina approached the dock.
Congrats to Johanna, Eric and the entire Casa and Mora families.
Special thanks to Capt. Robbie and the crew aboard the Catalina for always providing a smooth ride.
