Wedding Reception Aboard the Catalina Yacht

On the mesmerizing evening of November 11, 2023, I had the honor of DJing a breathtaking wedding on the back patio overlooking the intra coastal. The bridal party, elegantly making their way down the aisle, set the tone for the romantic ceremony. The instrumental version of "Light My Love" by Greta Van Fleet accompanied their entrance, while the bride walked down the aisle to the timeless melody of "Here Comes the Sun" by The Beatles. The ceremony, bathed in the soft glow of the cool, breezy day, concluded with the jubilant pronouncement of the couple as husband and wife. For the recessional, the uplifting tunes of "You Are My Best Friend" by Queen and "Forever Young" by Bob Dylan echoed, setting a joyous tone for the celebration. The transition to the Catalina for the cocktail hour was seamless, featuring a delightful mix of soft rock, R&B, and alternative music. As the reception kicked off, the bridal party's entrance was marked by the infectious beats of "We Are Family" by Sister Sledge, followed by the bride and groom's grand entrance to "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen. The first dance, set to the soulful "You're the One" by Greta Van Fleet, captivated everyone, leading smoothly into the heartfelt father-daughter dance featuring "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts. The groom, Kyle, and his mother shared a touching moment, swaying to the classic "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. The night unfolded seamlessly, with guests savoring their meals and dancing to the rhythm of joy, creating unforgettable memories at the Catalina.
