Wedding Reception Aboard the Catalina Yacht

On Saturday March 27^th, Raymond and Linda made a vow to each other aboard the Catalina of the Sun Dream Yacht Charters.  Their family and friends celebrated with them on this day.  As the guests were boarding the Catalina, I played some steel drum islannd music. They made their way towards the upper deck where the ceremony was being held. When the ceremony began, the bridal party walked down to” A thousand years” by Christina Perri.  Linda walked with her father to “I get to love you” by Ruelle.  After Raymond and Linda became husband and wife, they walked down the aisle to “Love me like you do” by Ellie Goulding.  While Raymond and Linda were taking pictures, the guests began their happy hour.  Appetizers were passed around, while the bar was opened.  I played some upbeat music to set the tone while guests were enjoying drinks, food, and a cruise on the intercostal waterways.  While the happy hour came to the end, we had formal introductions to announce Raymond and Linda into their reception room.  The music started with the theme of Jaws, then hit with 24k magic by Bruno Mars.  They had their first dance together to “You’ by Dan and Shay.  Linda danced with her father to” I loved her first’ by Heartland.  And Raymond danced with his mom to “ Love of my life” by Carly Simon.  After the formal dances ended, the pastor said a prayer before we started dinner. While dinner was being served, I played some modern smooth music. The dinner ended, and now the party starts.  I played Salsa, Merengue, EDM and some top 40’s of the mid 2000’s.  I would like to wish Raymond and Linda a long life of happiness, wealth, and prosperity together.  It was a honor to be your DJ on you special day.
