Friday evening May 17th aboard The Catalina Yacht that boarded and left out of Ft. Lauderdale is where family and friends from Florida to Mississippi came to celebrate the wedding day of Kim and Zacq Merisotis.
The ceremony was dockside at the Doubletree hotel as the guests gathered on the patio overlooking Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal. Four songs were played per the bride by Terri Geisel, Amazing Grace, Air, My Soul Delights and Jesus is Beautiful. Canon in D for Kim who walked with her dad. Then once the pastor concluded, Solomon by George Frederick.
Guests then boarded the Catalina Yacht to the sounds of some Island music and Reggae as requested while Kim and Zacq took pictures on the pool deck then boarded for an informal introduction as they joined the guests for cocktail hour on the upper deck of the Catalina.
Once cocktails were over, guests came down stairs to dining room as I lined up the family for introductions to MKTO Superstition for all as they danced into the dinning room. Kim and Zacq had their first dance to God Gave Me You by Blake Shelton.
Kim danced with her father to Cinderella. Zacq danced with his mother to My Wish. The toast was made by the Kim's father, and the prayer was completed. Then the maid of honor and the best man did their speeches.
Once dinner was over the cake was cut to Walking in Memphis by Cake, and then the party began with dance music, a lot of line dances and music from all genres as guests danced all night.
The party rocked til the very last song of the evening as I played Don't Stop Believing, Closingtime. Another happy couple that partied with DJ Marc Evans over the water on the Catalina with Kim and Zacq.
