Wedding Reception Aboard the Catalina Yacht

Leah and Kyle's wedding on October 5th aboard the Catalina Yacht in Ft. Lauderdale was a celebration to remember. The intimate ceremony, set against the stunning backdrop of the intracoastal on the upper level, was a heartfelt union of two great people. The groom, accompanied by his parents, walked down the aisle to Heaven is a Place on Earth by The Secret Pianist, followed by the bride who walked down the aisle to Heaven by Tickled Ivories. Once the two were pronounced husband and wife, the new Mr. and Mrs. McCoppen celebrated together while singing Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder. 

As the DJ for the evening, I had the privilege of setting the perfect atmosphere from upstairs for the cocktail hour before inviting all the guests downstairs for the couple’s grand entrance. The magical moments continued with the couple's first dance to I’ll Be by Edwin McCain. Emotions soared during the father-daughter dance, accompanied by Paul Canning's Sweet Child of Mine. Kyle then joined his mother on the dance floor for their mother-son dance to Days Like This by Van Morrison. After dinner and a short speech from the father of the bride, the guests partied it up on the dance floor before I invited them to continue the festivities on the top-deck. Every song contributed to a night of love, joy, and everlasting memories for Mr. and Mrs. McCoppen. Cheers to a lifetime of happiness for the newlyweds! You guys are great! - DJ ELOW
