Wedding Reception Aboard the Catalina Yacht

On Sunday, November 23rd I was in Fort Lauderdale aboard the Catalina Yacht for the wedding celebration of Jo Ann and Mitchell. The boat was decorated with beautiful light pink floral arrangements and decor. For ceremony, all the guests were on the top-deck to welcome the groom and bridal party which included the couple’s dog Cooper, the ringbearer. Jo Ann walked down the aisle to From This Moment by Shania Twain to join the groom under the Huppa. The ceremony concluded with the newlyweds singing From this Moment by Shania Twain as they celebrated back down the aisle. Following the ceremony, guests remained on the top-deck for cocktail hour as I played a mix of oldies from the 70s and 80s. Guests were then invited down to the dining deck for introductions as we welcomed the newlyweds to Perfect by Ed Sheeran and Beyonce leading right into their first dance. Mitchell then proposed a toast to his wife before everyone was invited to the buffet for dinner. Following dinner I invited all the couples to the dance floor for a slow dance and after that it was a full-on dance party dancing to party favorites to the 70s and 80s with a few new hits sprinkled in.
