Wedding Reception Aboard the Sun Dream Yacht

On Saturday June 3rd aboard the Sun Dream Yacht is where the 7 hour event for Joe and Lloyd was held. For the first two hours of cocktails, I played music off the very extensive song list provided to me from the Grooms, Joe and Lloyd. Songs included Billy Ocean, Frank Sinatra, Beach Boys, Jimmy Buffet and more...

Once cocktails concluded, the ceremony was to begin with the small wedding party along with Joe and Lloyd walking down the aisle to Wild Horses by The Rolling Stones...Once they were pronounced partners for life, I played I Gotta Feeling as Joe and Lloyd walked back down the aisle. Pictures of Joe and Lloyd with family and friends on the top deck of the Sun Dream Yacht.

Following the pictures, I introduced the small wedding party then Joe and Lloyd to The Brain, a very upbeat song as they proceeded to do the first dance which was choreographed to The Story by Sara Ramirez. Then Joe danced with his mom to Wind Beneath My Wings by Lou Rawls. Then I played We Are Family and invite all of Lloyds family to join and dance with him on the center of the dance floor. 

Dinner was served downstairs as the piano player took over with the prayer and the toasts to be held in the main room. 

As dinner concluded and the guests made there way back to the dance floor area the cake was cut to no music so that Joe and Lloyd can speak during the cake ceremony. And then at the point the party began as once again I played music off the very extensive list provided as well as songs for the wedding  party, parent dances and a song to have all the same sex partners to join Joe and Lloyd on the dance floor. This group was very diverse and they danced till the very last songs of Last Dance by Donna Summer and Europa by Gato Barber.  

A great time was held and memories were created with DJ Marc Evans and The Sun Dream Yacht.
