Good Day Bloggers!
DJ Gregg here with this weeks installment of the Wedding Blog.
On Saturday December 29th I had the pleasure of being the DJ for Oscar and Laura
The ceremony and reception was held on the beautiful Sundream Yacht. Our story starts there. The ceremony occurred on the top deck.Captain Pat did a great job as usual doing the officiating. After the wedding horn was blasted, we headed out on the intracoastal. During cocktail hour I played some Spanish Guitar Music to set a nice, festive tone. I then invited all of the guests to the main deck for the introductions of the bride and groom.
The intros of the couple were short and sweet. They danced to "Bajo El Agua" by Manuel Medrano. Then we had a close friend of Oscar's, Marcos as well as the Maid of Honor, Carolina say a few words of encouragement and wisdom.
I then proceeded to invite everyone down to the dining room for dinner. During dinner, I kept the flavor very upbeat and played some more Spanish Guitar as requested.
Afterwords, I asked the guests to come back upstairs to the lounge for some dancing and partying!
The cake cutting went off without a hitch, and then we danced the rest of the evening away. Oscar and Laura had asked me to play Latin Music all night, so I played a lot of Salsa and Reggaeton. Towards the end of the evening, we pulled into the dock and had a Mariachi band come on board. It was Laura's birthday, and Oscar had this special surprise planned for her! She loved it! Once they finished, I was able to get the crowd moving again and we danced the rest of the evening.
It was a great time by all!
