Wedding Reception Aboard the Sun Dream Yacht

DJ Gregg here with this weeks installment of the Wedding Blog.

On Friday I had the pleasure of being the DJ for Gloria and Jim

The ceremony and reception was held on the beautiful Sundream Yacht. Our story starts there.The ceremony occurred on the top deck.Captain Pat did a great job as usual doing the officiating. After the wedding horn was blasted, we headed out on the intracoastal. During cocktail hour I played some old school R & B and Oldies to set a nice, festive tone. I then invited all of the guests to the main deck for the introductions of the bride and groom.

The intros of the couple were short and sweet. They danced to "Betcha By Golly Wow" by The Stylistics. Then we had The Gloria dance with her son. "You are the Sunshine of my life" was used. Dennis, a close friend, gave a few words of encouragement and wisdom.

I then proceeded to invite everyone down to the dining room for dinner. During dinner, I kept the flavor very upbeat and played some more light vocal and oldies as requested.

Afterwords, I asked the guests to come back upstairs to the lounge for some dancing and partying!

The cake cutting went off without a hitch, and then we danced the rest of the evening away. 

It was a great time by all!
