Wedding Reception Aboard the Sun Dream Yacht

Amy and David’s Wedding was held aboard the Sun Dream Yacht Charter in Ft. Lauderdale on August 5th. They were blessed with some perfect Florida Summer weather and all their family members gathered on the top deck to watch them get married. I started things off with a mix of reggae and Disney hits while guests were boarding. The bride walked down the aisle to Lava by James Ford Murphy and once announced married their recessional song was You’re the One That I Want by Olivia Newton John. Once the ceremony was over I switched it over to some 80s hits for the cocktail hour. After some pictures it was time to introduce the wedding party and the newlyweds. The bride had UFC Announcer, Bruce Buffer record a special introduction for Amy and David, making them sound like professional wrestlers.The guests enjoyed it very much and played along with the wrestling themed intro. I pumped everyone up and the cheering continued as I invited them to the middle of the floor for their first dance to A Whole New World by Peabo Bryson. We took a little break for dinner around 8:00pm as I played a few dance hits before dinner. They also had a photo booth onboard to entertain their guests and they received an Album at the end of the night containing all of the pictures. The cake was cut to a cover of Can’t Help Falling in Love by Pearl Jam as the guests sang along. The reception continued after that and the guests danced the whole night.
