Wedding Reception Aboard the Sun Dream Yacht

Laura and Chris Harrison celebrated their wedding aboard the Sundream Yacht out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 5/20/2022.  This fun wedding began with a ceremony on the top deck followed by the cocktail hour and the reception.  Approximately 50 close friends and family members boarded the Sundrream that Friday night for a 4 hour wedding cruise along the S.Flo intercostal water ways.  After the happy couple tied the knot some of the guests remained on the top deck and some came down to the mid-deck for drinks and appetizers.  I played a mix of tropical tunes while they all mingled and enjoyed the sights.  I lined up the 12 member bridal party for the grand entrance while everyone gathered on the dance floor.  Laura chose Let's Get It Started by The Black Eyed Peas for the bridal party intros and Yeah by Usher for her and Chris' intro.  The first dance was to Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton then Laura danced with her brother John to What A Wonderful World by L. Armstrong and Chris danced with his mom to Loves Me Like A Rock by Paul Simon.  All of the guests were then invited to the main deck for a buffet style dinner.  Laura provided me with a short play list and asked me to have fun with her guests.  After dinner all of the guests came up to the mid-deck (where I am set-up) for some dancing fun.  I played top 40, country, 80s and 90s dance hits and disco.  Great mix of genres for this very up-beat group of guests that only took a break for the cake cutting and the garter/bouquet toss.  As the Sundream approached the dock I played Closing Time by Semisonic and that put a bow on a nice Friday night wedding cruise.
