Wedding Reception Aboard the Sun Dream Yacht

Alexa and Benjamin Leibowitz celebrated their wedding aboard the Sundream Yacht out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 9/12/2022.  Approximately 30 close friends and family members boarded the Sundream that Monday night for a 4 hour wedding cruise along the S. Fla inter-coastal water ways.  They were all directed to the top deck for the cocktail hour as I played a mix of tropical tunes while they all enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  The first dance and parents dances were held on the mid-deck where I am set-up.  Alexa and Benjamin danced to L.O.V.E. by Nat King Cole then Rebeca danced with her dad to Sweet Child O'Mine by Scott Bradlee and Benjamin dance with his mom to I Hope You Dance by Leanne Womack.  The buffet style dinner was held on the main deck and that is were some of the guests gave the speeches and toasts.  The dance floor got pretty busy after dinner.  I played a mix of top 40, classic disco and oldies for all to enjoy.  The happy couple did have a cake cutting ceremony (no garter/bouquet toss) and I did take a few requests for more Studio 54 style hits.  As the Sundream approached the dock I played Last Dance by Donna Summer and that put a bow on a nice Monday night wedding cruise.
