Wedding reception Aboard the Sun Dream Yacht
I had the great pleasure of DJing Saniford and Lerryl’s wedding on board the Sun Dream Yacht on December 18, 2022. As the guests arrived I played smooth jazz by Kenny G. The weather was looking bad but cleared up perfectly for the wedding! The wedding was emceed by Shane Joseph who did a fantastic job! The Bridal Party walked in to Till Death Do Us Part by Brian Nihra. After the ceremony Saniford kissed his bride for about 3 straight minutes as I played I Found Love by BeBe and CeCe Winans. It was quite a kiss!! For Cocktail Hour I played a mix from Saniford’s requests including Always on My Mind by Daville and Sean Paul and Could You Be Loved by Bob Marley. People from all over the world were at this wedding from Trinidad and Tobago to Guyana to New York City! I played Hot Hot Hot by Arrow and Wine and Roses by Anthony B. For introductions Shane took over the mic and I played Emilian by C Kay. The crowed erupted on cheers as Saniford and Lerryl entered! The Bride and Groom had their first dance to From this Moment by Shania Twain. Then Saniford took the mic and sang Is This Love by Bob Marley to Lerryl. Saniford sure can sing!! After this the couple cut the cake to “A Woman Like You” by Gramps Morgan. Then it was time for dinner where about ten different people gave speeches and toasts to the new Husband and Wife. After dinner it was party time and I played a variety of music from Afro Beats to Soka! Some of the songs that REALLY got people up dancing were: Machel Mantano - Mr. Fete, Call Me If by Dexta Daps, For My Hand by Burna Boy, Famalay by Skinny Fabulous, Boyzie - Stage in Life and Machel Mantano - Stage in Life. Saniford sang to Lerryl again with John Legend - All of Me. The party rocked for the rest of the night and then finished up with Positive - Blessing After Blessing. Saniford thanked all the guests for coming and invited everyone back for their tenth anniversary! This was a wedding filled with love and joy and it was a blessing to be part of it!
