Saturday February 4th aboard the Sundream Yacht is where Brendan and Aly Donavan celebrated the joining of two families and with friends as we sailed the intracoastal of Fort Lauderdale.
All the way from St. Louis they traveled to party with Brendan and Aly. As guests boarded I played Island music until the ceremony. Once we started the ceremony, the bridal party walked down the aisle to A Thousand Years, by The Piano Guys. Aly walked down the aisle to Sweet Child of Mine by The Piano Guys. After pronounced husband and wife I played My Best Friend by Queen.
During cocktail hour I played Yacht Jams as we sailed the intracoastal.
Cocktail concluded as I invited guests to mid deck for the introduction of Aly and Brendan to Rhianna Desperado. The first dance was to Everything by Micheal Buble. The father daughter dance was to My Girl by The Temptations and the mother son dance was to Find Your Wings by Mark Harris.
During dinner was the toasts and the prayer as I was asked to play Dinner swing along with Reggae, Jimmy Buffet, Frank Sinatra and songs from the rat pack days.
As soon as dinner was over I pumped it up with Party Rock, Top 40 music. Dancing went on all night to hip hop, and many more dance songs. The only traditional event done was the cake cutting to Sugar Sugar by The Archies and the throwing of the bouquet to Man I Feel Like a Woman.
The final song was Closing Time as guests then proceeded to the dock for the lighted stick send off as Aly and Brendan did one more slow song by themselves to Banks by Need to Breathe. Aly and Brendan will remain in South Florida as Brendan plays for the St. Louis Cardinals and pre-season is about to begin. Good Luck from DJ Marc and Eddie B & Company.
