Wedding Reception Aboard the Sun Dream Yacht

Kathleen and Joe Walsh celebrated there wedding aboard the Sun Dream Yacht out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 7/16/2023.  Approximately 40 close friends and family members boarded the Sundream that Sunday late afternoon for a 4 hour wedding cruise along the S. Florida inter-coastal water ways.  The ceremony took place on the top deck then all of the guests came down to the mid-deck where I am set-up for the cocktail hour.  I played a mix of tropical tunes while they all mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  The happy couple took the time to pose for pictures on the top deck before they all made their way down to the main deck for a buffet style dinner.  During the meals, a few of the guests gave brief toasts and welcome speeches.  After dinner all of the guests came back up to the mid-deck for some dancing fun.  Kathleen did provide me with a short play list that included top 40, disco, oldies and country classics.  Perfect mix of genres for this very fun group of guests.  As the evening progressed we did have the cake cutting ceremony (no garter/bouquet toss) and we performed an anniversary dance.  As the Sundream approached the dock I played Could I Have This Dance by Anne Murray as the closing song.
