Wedding Reception Aboard the Sun Dream Yacht

Rocio and Hernand Gonzalez celebrated their dream wedding aboard the Sun Dream Yacht out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 1/12/2018.  The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the guests were invited to the Sun Dream for the cocktail hour and reception.  As all of the approximate 75 guests boarded the yacht they were directed to the top deck for drinks and appetizers.  I played a mix of latin easy listening favorites while all of the guests mingled and posed for pictures.  There were no formal intros but the happy couple did dance to The Love Story Theme by Henry Mancini then Rocio danced with her dad and brother to Quinta Anauco and Hernand danced with his mom and daughter to What A Wonderful World by L. Armstrong.  The toasts and prayer were given by several family members right before a plated dinner was served on the lower deck.  Rocio did provide me a play list that included latin hits, top 40 and disco.  This was the perfect mix of genres for her guests.  Rocio really enjoyed herself that evening with her friends.  She won my award for top dancer!!!  There was no garter/bouquet toss but they did cut their beautiful wedding cake as the night progressed.  As the yacht approached the dock I played No Hay Cama Pa Tanta Gente by El Gran Combo and that put a bow on a great Friday night intercostal wedding.  Congrats to Rocio, Hernand and the entire Gonzalez and Bastida families.
