Wedding Reception Aboard the Sun Dream Yacht

Ashleigh and Derek Diaz celebrated their wedding aboard the Sun Dream Yacht out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 11/26/2023.  Approximately 30 close friends and family members boarded the Sun Dream that Sunday early evening for a 4 hour wedding cruise along the S. Florida inter-coastal water ways.  The ceremony took place on the top deck and after the happy couple made it official with a big kiss, they all came down to the mid-deck for drinks and appetizers.  I played a mix of tropical tunes while they all mingled and posed for pictures with Ashleigh and Derek.  Ashleigh chose Boats and Hoe's for the bridal party intros and We Found Love by Rihanna for her and Derek's intro.  The first dance was to You're The World To Me by David Grey then everyone was invited to the main deck for a buffet style dinner.  During dinner some of the guests gave toasts and speeches as they enjoyed their meals.  The dance party continued on the mid-deck where I am set-up.  I played a mix of top 40, classic rock, 2000s dance hits and oldies.  Perfect mix of genres for this very up-beat group of guests.  The cake cutting was performed as the evening progressed but the dance floor was the place to be.  As the Sun Dream approached the dock I played Lovely Day by Bill Withers as the last dance.
