Wedding Reception Aboard the Sun Dream Yacht

I DJed the wedding of Lauren and Andrew Coggins on board the Sun Dream on Saturday, December 9, 2023. As the guests boarded I played wedding classics like Natalie Cole - This Will Be, Chapel of Love and At Last by Etta James. The top deck was decorated beautifully with a white arch behind the place where Lauren and Andrew would exchange their vows. As the guests took their seats I played music from Vitamin String Quartet. The wedding party walked in to In My Life by the Beatles. Next, Lauren walked in escorted by her father to the string version of Canon in D Major. After exchanging their vows with Captain Pat officiating, the horn went off and Lauren and Andrew kissed and were pronounced husband and wife! I played L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole as the bridal party exited!

Next I played music like Stevie Wonder - Signed Sealed Delivered, Best Day of My Life by American Authors, and Just the Way You Are by Bruno Mars as the guests enjoyed cocktail hour and Andrew and Lauren took photos on the top deck with the sunset in the background. Next, I introduced the bridal party to Forever by Chris Brown and then introduced for the very first time Mr and Mrs Andrew Coggins! I played Capital Cities - Safe and Sound as Andrew and Lauren came out on the dance floor! Next was the couples first dance to Until I Found You by Stephen Sanchez. You could tell by their dancing that they had practiced! Next, Lauren danced with her father to Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles and Andrew danced with his mother to God Make You Beautiful by Beyonce. 

After that the guests mingled for a few minutes and then went to the first deck for dinner. Maid of Honor and sister of the bride Stephanie gave an engaging and beautiful toast and best man Steve gave a funny and heartwarming toast as did bridesmaid Allison. 

After dinner it was time to dance! I played music from Lauren and Andrews awesome playlist like Walk the Moon - Shut Up and Dance, Bruce Springsteen - Dancing in the Dark, Earth Wind and Fire - September and Taylor Swift - Shake it Off. Lauren threw her bouquet to Wannabe by Spice Girls and Andrew removed the garter to You Sexy Thing by Hot Chocolate. He tossed it to the only single man at the party! We danced the night away to songs like You Spin Me Round, The Cure - Just Like Heaven, Sia - Wild Ones and Don't Stop Believin. The last song was Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody.
