Wedding Reception Aboard the Sun Dream Yacht

Daisy and Steven Rodriguez celebrated their wedding aboard the Sun Dream Yacht out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 5/26/2024.  Approximately 55 close friends and family members boarded the Sun Dream that Sunday afternoon and were directed to the top deck for the cocktail hour.  Before they boarded I decorated the mid-deck (were I am set-up) with 12 LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  The ceremony was held at a nearby church so the 5 hour cruise along the S. Florida intercostal water ways was for the cocktail hour and reception only.  Daisy and Steven chose to have an intro on the mid-deck to Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars then they went straight into their first dance which was Conversations In The Dark by John Legend.  Daisy then danced with her mom to Mi Hija by Abraham Velazquez and Steven danced with his mom to Forever Now by Michael Buble.  The buffet style dinner was ready for all to enjoy so everyone made their way to the main deck.  During dinner Aurora (MOH) and David (BM) gave the toasts then Steven thanked everyone for attending their big day.   Daisy did provide me with a play list that included heavy latin favorites, country, hip-hop and 80s and 90s dance hits.  The dance floor filled up very quickly after dinner and it remained busy for most of the cruise.  The happy couple did take the time to cut their wedding cake and they surprised everyone with a dessert station.  The highlight of the evening was the Hora Loca which we performed with several props which made it much more fun.  As the Sun Dream approached the dock I played No Hay Cama Pa Tanta Gente by El Gran Combo and that put a bow on a fabulous Sunday night wedding cruise.
