Wedding Reception Aboard the Sun Dream Yacht

Mindy and Jim Sherrill celebrated their wedding aboard the Sun Dream Yacht out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 10/5/2024.  Approximately 20 guests boarded the Sun Dream that Saturday afternoon for a 4 hour wedding cruise along the S. Florida waterways.  As they boarded they were all invited to the top deck for the ceremony.  After the happy couple tied the knot, they were all directed to the mid-deck for the cocktail hour.  They mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers while Mindy and Jim posed for pictures.  The first dance was to At Last by Etta James then everyone was invited to the main deck for a buffet style meal.  During lunch some of the guests gave toasts and speeches then Mindy and Jim thanked everyone for attending their big day.  The mid-deck (where I am set-up) is also where the dance floor is.  I played a mix of 70s and 80s dance tunes for all to enjoy and I also took a few request for couples songs.  The cake cutting and a dessert station was available for all to enjoy along with a spectacular view of the million dollar homes on the intercostal.  As the Sun Dream approached the dock I played the Peanuts Theme Song as the closing song.
