Wedding Reception Aboard the Sun Dream Yacht

Laury and Greg Vasquez celebrated their wedding aboard the Sun Dream Yacht out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 10/5/2024.  Approximately 30 guests boarded the Sun Dream that Saturday evening for a 4 hour wedding cruise along the S. Florida inter-coastal water ways.  The ceremony took place on the top deck then everyone was invited to the mid-deck for the cocktail hour.  I played a mix of tropical tunes while everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks ad appetizers.  The intros also took place on the mid-deck then the happy couple danced to Can You Feel The Love Tonight by Elton John as the first dance.  Greg danced with his mom to Unforgettable by Nat King Cole then I played Bleed It Out by Linkin Park for everyone to join in.  The buffet style dinner was ready for all to enjoy on the main deck, so all of the guests made the way down.  During dinner the toasts were given by Nick (BM) and Esther (MOH) and by a few family members.  The dance floor is located on the mid-deck (where I am set up).  I played a mix of latin favorites, oldies, fun 80s and 90s dance tunes and top 40.  Very nice mix of genres for this energetic group of guests.  The cake cutting was also held on the mid-deck along with a sweets station for all to enjoy.  The closing song for the evening was Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton so as the Sun Dream approached the dock, everyone gathered on the dance floor for one last time.
