Wedding and reception aboard the Sun Dream

On Saturday October 26 2024 Rocio and Deven made the best decision of their life together, getting married. This took place on the upper deck of the Sun Dream Yacht in Fort Lauderdale.  As their guests arrived I played some latin instrumental jazz  The bridal party walked down to “A Thousand Years” instrumental version.  Rocio walked down with her father to “Canon In D”  After they were pronounced husband and wife, they walked to Paradise” by Coldplay instrumental version.  While Rocio and Deven were taking pictures on the upper deck, their family and friends enjoyed cocktail hour.  They had appetizers and drinks while I was playing some upbeat pop hits.  I introduced Rocio and Deven into the reception  to “Uptown Funk” by Bruno Mars. Their first dance as husband and wife was “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri.  I opened up the dance floor before dinner and played some top latin songs and a little 90’s hip hop. Then dinner was served  on the lower deck. They had toasts and speeches during dinner as I played some easy listening pop music.  When dinner ended, the party was about to begin.  I played some salsa, merengue, bachata, reaggaton and the top hip hop of the 90’ to the 2000’s.  They were dancing in couples and at times all together.

I would like to thank the staff of the Sun Dream for serving our guest on a long charter and being active to their needs.  Thank you Captain for a steady ride along the intercostal waterways
