Wedding Reception Aboard the Sun Dream Yacht
On December 31st 2025 Laina and Elijah had their New Years wedding, ceremony and reception aboard the Sun Dream Yacht docked at the Galleria One Doubletree hotel in Fort Lauderdale. As the guests arrived they were directed to the top deck for the ceremony. I kept the vibe lively playing top 40 pop hits. The bridal party walked to Here Comes The Sun instrumental. Laina walked to Can't Help Falling in Love by Brooklyn Duo and the Recessional was to Home by Phillip Phillips. For the cocktail hour I played a mix of love songs and feel good oldies. I had the honor of introducing Laina and Elijah to Walking on Sunshine by Katrina & the Waves. The first dance was to I'll Be by Edwin McCain, The father daughter dance was to Magic Carpet Ride from Aladdin by Brad Kane and Lea Salonga, and mother son was to My Wish by Rascal Flatts.
For dinner I played upbeat Jazz then I pumped it up playing 70's, 80's today's hits and latin favorites. As we did the countdown for the new year. I played I Got A Feeling by The Black Eyed Peas. As we celebrated The New Year keeping the energy high as the night came to an end as we made our way back to the dock I played Closing Time by the symphonics. putting an end to an incredible night and an even better start to a great New Year.
