Good Day Bloggers! DJ Gregg here with this weeks installment of the Wedding blog. This episode brings us to the wedding and reception of Buddy and Leisa. They had an old fashioned Country wedding at their residence in Jupiter, FL. The ceremony was held at a friend's house a few minutes away. The grounds were beautiful with huge oak trees and lots of land. As the guests gathered for the ceremony, I was asked to play some prelude music from the Vitamin String Quartet. The parents entered to "Wanted" by Hunter Hayes. Then the bridal party walked down to "Get Along" by Kenny Chesney. Soon after Leisa arrived in a Stretch Hummer! It was classic!. She walked down to "Eyes On You" by Chase Rice. The ceremony was performed by Leisa's aunt and she was very happy to do it. Soon after the ceremony, everyone went back to Buddy's home. He also has a great location and a lot of land. The barn was turned into the reception hall. It really looked great and it was illuminated with Amber up lighting provided by Eddie B. & Company.
During the cocktail hour I was asked to play a lot of country and classic rock. It really worked great.
Soon after the Hummer Limo arrived! I was asked to introduce the bridal party directly from the Hummer in the driveway. I then introduced Buddy and Leisa. All 200 guests erupted with massive applause! I then proceeded to invite them to the dance floor for the first dance. This was a little different, as it was a three song set and was specifically choreographed for Buddy and Leisa. I was awesome! I then invited Leisa to dance with her dad. They chose "Just Fishin" by Trace Adkins. Then Buddy danced with his Mom. They used "Because You Loved Me" by Celene Dion. Shortly after that the dinner was served. I played some more country and Classic Rock per Buddy and Leisa's request. As dinner was closing, I invited Lauren and Mark, the maid of honor and best man to come up and say a few words. They then proceeded to show a slide show of the life and times of Buddy and Leisa. Shortly after that I opened the dance floor. This group was ready to party! I was able to play great music from all genres. As the evening progressed, I turned up the heat by playing a lot of Hip Hop, Booty, and Country. I have to say that this was a really fun wedding. Everyone had a great time!!!
