Kristine and Jason Grant celebrated their wedding at Kristine's dad's home in Davie, FL on 10/24/2020. The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the 50 guests were invite to the home for the cocktail hour and reception. 2 big tents were set-up on the grass in the back yard along with a few tables and chairs for the reception. When all off the guests found their seats I lined up the 10 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Kristine chose Parachute by Chris Stapleton as the grand entrance song then they went right into their first dance. The happy couple chose I'll Be by Edwin McCain then Kristine danced with her dad to Landslide by Fleetwood Mac then Jason danced with his mom to Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd. The toasts were given by Kristine's parents and also by Jason's sister Michelle. The meal was buffet style and as they enjoyed dinner I played a mix of classic country music. After dinner the dance floor opened up and the reception was in full swing. Kristine did provide me with a play list that included heavy country, top 40 and I took a few requests for latin favorites and group dances. There was no garter/bouquet toss or cake cutting ceremony that evening but the dance floor was hot!!! The closing song for the evening was Stay A Little Longer by Brothers Osborne and that put a bow on a great Saturday night wedding. Congrats to Kristine, Jason and the entire Grant and Obenour families.
