Just another typical Monday night, leap year Miami Beach, perfect wedding!!! Annette and Gary Abrey celebrated their wedding at a private home in Miami Beach, FL on 2/29/2016. Approximately 35 very close friends and family members witnessed a beautiful outdoor ceremony where the happy couple tied the knot. This wedding was about quality no quantity. After the ceremony all of the guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers at the cocktail hour. A close friend of the family played a few tunes on his acoustic guitar while Annette and Gary posed for pictures. I took the time to decorate the dinner and dancing area with 24 amber colored, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. After the cocktail hour all of the guests were invited into the dinning area where they all sat for dinner and raised their glasses for two toasts given by Maxine (maid of honor) and Mark (best man). Annette did not provide me with a play list but did request that I play to the crowd and to enjoy the evening. This group was small but very entertaining!! They would not leave the dance floor. I played a mix of top 40, classic rock, disco, 80's and 90's dance hits and even a little country. I also took a few requests for some of the group dances. There was no garter/bouquet toss, no first dance of parents dances. But they did have a beautiful wedding cake where everyone gathered around to see them cut it. As the evening came to an end I played my favorite closing song...New York, New York by Frank Sinatra. Great way to close a perfect wedding!! Congrats to Annette, Gary and the entire Abrey and Ully families. Wishing them the best of luck always!!!
