Good Day Bloggers!
DJ Gregg here with this weeks installment of the WEDDING BLOG. Our journey takes us to a private residence in West Palm Beach for the reception of Jordan and Mollie. This location was situated on 3 acres of land!
A Grand home for a Grand Event!
The ceremony was held in the front of the house under an old tree. Then the cocktail hour commence. After that the guests were invited to the backyard. It was decorated beautifully for the guests...complete with chandeliers and wonderful floral arrangements. The guests were getting settled in, while I was playing some cool South Beach style tunes. A really nice vibe for a really nice evening. Not a cloud in the sky!
I invited Mollie and Jordan into the backyard. I then asked them to do the first dance. "You Send Me" by Sam Cooke was chosen. The guests were impressed, as Jordan and Mollie did a choreographed dance to the song. It really started the evening off perfectly! Then I asked all of the guests to join them on the dance floor to help them along. Soon after that I played the celebration "Hora". It was great to see Jordan and Mollie being lifted up in the chair as Jewish tradition warrants. Shortly after that I asked Jordan and Chris, the Maid of honor and Best Man to say a few words and toast Mollie and Jordan. I then asked everyone to take their seats for dinner. During this time, I played a lot of the requests of Mollie and Jordan. Perfect for dinner! After that, I invited the guests to dance. This was a fairly young crowd, so I played a lot of current songs sprinkled in with some 90's hip hop and 90's booty music. As the evening progressed, the party made its way to the pool and everyone decided to go for a swim! It was great to see Jordan and Mollie in the middle of the pool with all of their friends. All in all, this was a really fun party and I wish Jordan and Mollie a wonderful life together!
