Wedding Reception at a Private Residence

Jenna and Joshua Franks celebrated their wedding at a close friends residence in Ft. Lauderdale FL on 3/1/2014.  Rob and Lee Miles are the owners of this beautiful home on the inter-coastal and they opened their doors to Jenna, Joshua and approximately 60 close friends and family members for a wedding bash.  The ceremony took place on the beach and after the happy couple tied the knot, all of the guests were invited to the house.  As they arrived they enjoyed drinks, appetizers and a few tropical tunes for the cocktail hour.  The food and beverages was provided by Hugh's Catering (great choice) so after an extended cocktail hour all of the guests were invited to a buffet style meal with all the fixins.  Jenna and Joshua provided me with a small play list and asked me to keep the dancing going.  I played a mix of top 40, classic rock, 70's and 80's dance, rock and roll, disco and country. There was no grand entrance or a garter/bouquet toss but Jenna did dance with her dad to Tough Little Boys by Gary Allan and then with her step-dad to You're Gonna Miss This by Trace Adkins.  Joshua also danced with his mom to I Hope You Dance by Leeann Womack then for approximately 3 hours the dancing/party did not stop!! This was the first wedding that I witnessed the Bride's grandmother twerking!!!!  Yes twerking!!!!  It was really a lot of fun and I was asked to play for an extra hour.  Towards the end of the evening Joshua thanked everyone for attending their big day and we capped the night off with Friends In Low Places by Garth Brooks.  Congrats to Jenna, Joshua and the entire, Biddle, Ralston, McMullen, Miles and Franks families.  These folks can really get down!!
