Wedding Reception at Benvenutos

I had the great joy of DJing Chris and Abbie’s wedding on February 18, 2022 at Benvenudo in Boynton Beach. The ceremony was in the courtyard on a lovely sunny day. Abbie requested special songs to play before her ceremony including Cruisin by Gwyneth Paltrow and Huey Lewis, I Do by Ashlee and Evan and I Wanna Grow Old With You by Adam Sandler. The bridal party walked down the aisle to L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole. Abbie walked down the aisle to At Last by Etta James. After a lovely ceremony Abbie and Chris walked up the aisle as husband and wife to This Will Be by Natalie Cole. After cocktail hour it was time to make the introductions! Chris and Abbie's parents came in to "We Are Family' by Sister Sledge.  Abbie and Chris came in to "I'm the One" by DJ Khaled. Chris and Abbie's first dance was to a song called Dancing in the Kitchen by LANY which was very special to them. After the first dance Abbie danced with her father to I Knew I Loved You by Savage Garden. During dinner I played songs picked by the couple including Anyone by Justin Bieber and Best Song Ever by One Direction. After dinner it was time for the Hora and the couple was lifted up on chairs as the crowd danced around them in circles according to tradition. Chris is about 6'5" so a lot of respect for his friends and brother who held him up! After that the crowd danced to songs like Stevie Wonder "Signed Sealed Delivered", "Rock With You" by Michael Jackson and "Rain on Me" by Lady Gaga. The guests loved doing the Wobble and the Cupid Shuffle.  Abbie and Chris cut the Cake to "Cake by the Ocean" and Abbie threw her bouquet to Pour Some Sugar on Me. I also played songs from Usher, NSync and Britney Spears. The crowd had a fantastic time and so did Abbie and Chris. It was an honor to be part of the memories of their special day and I wish them much happiness and love in their future.
